InnovateHER 2017: Innovating for Women Business Challenge The SBA Office of Women’s Business Ownership invites all entrepreneurs in the United States to compete for $70,000 in cash prizes InnovateHER 2017: Innovating for Women Business Challenge SBA is launching the third year of the InnovateHER: Innovating for Women Challenge, a prize competition to showcase the most innovative products and services that impact and empower women’s lives. Through this Challenge, SBA is looking for entrepreneurs to create a product or service that: Has a measurable impact on the lives of women and families Has the potential for commercialization Fills a need in the marketplace Competitions will run locally through June 3, 2017 Visit sba.gov/InnovateHER to learn more National Finalists will present a live pitch to a panel of expert judges and compete for up to $70,000 in cash prizes: 1st Place - $40,000; 2nd Place - $20,000; and 3rd Place - $10,000 Final round will be held in September, 2017 (Location: TBD) This competition is funded through a generous gift from Sara Blakely Foundation. SBA’s acceptance of this gift from the Sara Blakely Foundation does not constitute an endorsement of the views, opinions, products or services of the donor or any other person or entity. All SBA programs and services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
