Eurostat’s mission “Eurostat’s mission is to provide the European Union with a high-quality statistical information service. Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg. Its task is to provide the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions. The European Statistics Code of Practice With the adoption of the European Statistics Code of Practice Eurostat and the statistical authorities of the EU-Member States have committed themselves to an encompassing approach towards high quality statistics.
