Patient 35 yo male MPC Hypotensive on arrival. Binder placed. Angiogram negative Exploratory laparotomy - colostomy
SICU Course Hemodynamically stable Placed in skeletal traction on R Classified as LC 3 pattern L SI joint widened anteriorly R sacrum fractured, displaced cephalad and posteriorly.
Fracture Repair Taken to OR post-injury day 5. L hemipelvis rolled internally using pin in L AIIS. L hemipelvis anchored to frame. R hemipelvis displaced cephalad and posteriorly.
Frame R hemipelvis reduced using traction on R leg.
Posterior Ring Repair R hemipelvis stabilized with S 1 and S 2 iliosacral screws.
Anterior Ring Bilateral superior pubic ramus fractures. Stabilized with internal external fixator.
