Deaths per 100 000 population of cardiovascular diseases* CVD according to ICD9 (International Classification of Diseases, 9th revision) codes 390–459. Standardised on the basis of age at Dec 31, 1990, % of total energy from fat (g fat per 10 MJ), % of smokers (16–74 years), and consumption of tetracycline in defined daily doses (DDD) per 1000.
