Alternate Game Play in the Classroom Items for Game Play Gameboard Pawns Dice Bus Stop Cards Bus Safety for Everyone Rules Place your pawns on the school bus to begin. Roll the dice and move forward along the yellow dashes in the road. When you either pass or land on a school bus stop sign, draw a card. The card will send you forward or backward depending on if you followed the bus safety rules. If you go past the same bus stop 2 times, you do not have to draw a card the second time. Continue along the road until a pawn makes it to the star target in front of the school. Optional: To make the game go faster you could use 2 dice. Alternate Game Play in the Classroom In the classroom you can use your projection board (most are magnetic) to show the game board on the screen. Print off our bus stop cards or make your own. You can use magnets as pawns. If you have a poster maker, the game board image can be printed off to be 18”x18” and can then be laminated. Students from the Adair County Primary Center, involved in the Student Technology Leadership Program, created this game. All images used were royalty-free or in the public domain. Created in 2018.
