Why are people getting more and more overweight? Think about it…. a 200% increase in overweight children since late 1960’s -15% of American children are overweight -61% of American adults are overweight!!!

Reason #1: Too many unhealthy choices! Mint chocolate chip used to be the only ice cream with candy in it. Now we have: Goo Goo Cluster Chocolate Chunk Oreo Snickers Bubble gum Etc.

Reason #2: Portion Sizes are too big! Remember MyPlate recommendations? How much protein should you have each day? How much milk should you have each day? Are the portions we eat WAY TOO BIG and OUT OF CONTROL?
