4. DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS DEMOGRAPHY IN BIH In 2015, activities of the SPS and SPR on the development of business demography in BiH have started A methodological document for the production of business demography in BiH was prepared Experimental work on determining the main demographic events in BiH for the period 2010-2013 has been completed (the number of active enterprises, the number of newly established companies, the number of extinguished companies) Activities on determining demographic events for the period 2014 - 2017 are in progress Significant for identification of economic development determinants, business dynamics analysis, performance measurement and identification of fast-growing companies (so- called gazelles)
5. THE FUTURE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPS INDICATORS OF BiH BHAS has developed the required SPS indicators (Annex I - VIII) Regular annual delivery of data to Eurostat The level of compliance with the Eurostat requirements is 93% for the delivered data sets Development of business demographic indicators in progress Transition to the use of administrative sources of data for the production of SPS indicators for small and medium-sized enterprises Reduction of coverage of the sample part of the research Development of electronic data collection
