Acknowledging Women's Leadership Recognizing the intersectionality between Climate Change, disasters, peace and development Recognizing that women as first responders and their leadership capabilities Disasters disrupt the peace at home and in communities. Climate change and conflict is not just a national security issues it is about women’s human security . This manifests into poverty , inequalities ad injustices Women can be resilient if their organizing , leadership is recognized and agency supported. Can this be the next big agenda for the commonwealth of nations?
