Road Trip Ashley and Jeffrey are in the car going on a cross-country trip to Disney World from Washington State. The car ride is so long and boring! During the trip, they decide to make a game out of naming and telling about each traffic sign they pass. Help Ashley and Jeffrey name all the traffic signs and their purpose. Home Page

Game Directions The goal of the game is to correctly identify the most traffic signs. To play the game you have to roll the dice to move along the road. When you land on a stop sign, select a question. For every question you get correct, you receive extra money to spend at Disney World. To win the game you have to earn the most money, by correctly answering the questions on the way to Disney World. Return

Game Preparation Game board: Print and tape slides 5 & 6, making enough copies for 1 game board per pair, to show full route. Once taped together, divide the route into boxed sections so students can have a path to follow when rolling dice. Slide 7 can be used to display progress to destination. Print slide 8 to glue stop signs to various locations on the board, where children can ‘Stop’ to answer questions. Slide 9 has game pieces. “Money” Cards: Print out and cut apart slide 10 Score Sheet: Print slide 11, and make enough copies for 1 person in the pair to keep score. Home Page
