Goals for 2016/2017 Fundraise for 2017/2018 programs goal of $16,500) Currently have raised ~$2000 Increase male and minority involvement by ~20% Increase parent : teacher interface by creating more opportunities for interaction Leverage community support and outreach Continue building upon the positive characteristics of Lincoln Heights Elementary Grit Resourcefulness Diversity Community

Inciting Positive Change Have increased volunteers at LHES to assist with Lunch Bunch Reading Program Great partnership with FVUMC in addition to Connect Church in FV Magnet Status approval for LHES which will increase funding to the school to support more innovative classes to attract students into LHES

Income vs Expenditures $1000 WalMart $500 Kohls Mums Fundraising - $103 Believe Catalog - $1847 PTA Membership/Spirit Wear - $429 Expenditures $150 to AIG (academically gifted) novel purchases, ESL for literature, Literary Coach lesson plan books, Class Dojo PBIS seed money

Upcoming Events - November Wish-Mas Tree Teachers are being solicited for classroom gift requests which will be hung as ‘wishes’ on a small tree by the front office. Students / Parents can pick as many wishes as they would like and purchase the items listed. You may wrap (or not) and deliver the gifts WITH TAGS to the front office or to the teacher.

Upcoming Events - December Holiday Store Will run from December 5th – 9th from 8am – 3:30pm Help is needed to run registers and/or help students with purchases and budgeting for the little ones Need at least 3 people / hour to help Teacher / Staff Appreciation Lunch on December 21st If you don’t want to bake / cook that is O.K (we take donations “in lieu of”) or you can buy something at the store and drop off in the front office
