Provided/available projections adapted for RAINS Data from 1990 to 2000 based on FAO statistics and national submissions, Projections based on CAPRI results (no CAP reform) Dairy cattle – no conversion Beef cattle – slaughtered heads provided (also information on off-take rates) – growth rates derived Pigs – as beef Poultry Laying hens – no conversion Other poultry – slaughtered heads provided – growth rates used Sheep and goats – no conversion Other animals (horses, fur animals) – no data provided – RAINS database used
