What is Section 503? It is that area of land that can be found between longitude 502 and latitude 504. Prohibits employment discrimination based on disability by federal contractors. Requires federal contractors to take affirmative action. Both B and C.

Not even close… While there very well may be a longitude of 502 and a latitude of 504, at least as far as we know on the planet Earth, they do not equal Section 503. Or, at least not the Section 503 we are referring to. Definitely Try Again!

Section 503 prohibits federal contractors and subcontractors from discriminating in employment against individuals with disabilities, and requires these employers to take affirmative action to recruit, hire, promote, and retain these individuals. The Final Rule strengthens the affirmative action provisions of the regulations and also makes changes to the nondiscrimination provisions of the regulations to bring them into compliance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008.
