Chinese New year starts on a new moon and ends 15 days later during the Lantern Festival. A sing of Spring, Chinese New Year is the bigest holiday in China. Paper decorations and flours are placed in homes, and people exchange gift. One gift of Chinese New Year is called lucky money. Lucky money is money rapped in small red envelopes that are give to children by freinds and relatives.
