Theme Map for Year 3: Spring 2 2016 Theme – Go Green *Digital literacy and ICT Understand computer networks including the internet Use search technologies effectively *Myths and Legends – reading a range of myths and legends and creating our own incorporating morals. Please encourage your child to read each day *Developing skills of playing netball. *developing skills and control in dance. PE *News paper reports – investigating current issues around recycling and global warming. Writing a report on our schools eco status. *Exploring the evolution of recycling and the changes to the environment. ICT English Science History Year 3 *Light and shadow Recognise we need light in order to see things and that dark is the absence of light. recognise that light from the sun can be dangerous to eyes but can be used to make power. Geography Music PSHE *Improving the environment including climate change , biomes and vegetation belts.
