It would be great if we could know where we can park legally, and whether or not a parking spot is empty! Approach THESIS: Every spot is to have a sensor or an RFID reader to know the presence of a car, then lets a user interface display the parking setup. APPROACH: After the system knows the status and the type of every parking spot, a message should be sent to a friendly user interface at the entries of the lot and the GPS of the cars entering the lot. Impact This system would save people from going around the parking lot looking for a spot, and would allow them to avoid getting ticketed by mistake.
