Learning Objectives Lesson 1- 17/4/17 Define Violence Identify roles people play in violent situations Discuss ways that we can make a difference in the world to reduce violence and injuries.

What is violence? Violence is the threat or use of force that hurts or frightens a person or damages property. Violence can be physical when people use their bodies or a weapon to cause pain or injure another person, or to destroy things. It can also be emotional when people use words to scare, threaten or hurt someone.

Task 1 Complete the violence “What's it got to do with me worksheet” 5 Minutes to complete before class discussion
