Food Waste Combat (The Food Bank): Working model: FEBA - European Food Banks Federation Providers: 1 local supermarket network + 1 producers cooperative Beneficiaries: local NGOs doing social work, educational activities or charity 2 Local shelters (Townhall) Fundatia Dezvoltarea popoarelor (20 Roma children and their families) Ecce Homo (60 assisted families) Serviciul Maltez (meals for the elders) Fundatia Herald (counselling and social assistance for youngsters and elders) Fundatia Christiana (meals for elders and the poor) Something New (social work for kids) [RESULTS to date: feb- oct 2018 - 7 tons of saved food, 200 beneficiaries] Founders: spin off from a JCI Cluj project, founded by 4 phisical persons +1 NGO (IRCEM) Funded by LIDL The grid for the assessment of good practice
