What is the SPSA? The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a plan of actions to raise the academic performance of all students to the level of performance goals established under the California Academic Performance Index. Manages “scorecard” of student body academic achievement driven by data analysis (test scores) Oversees spending of funds allocated to the school Annually evaluates various program effectiveness and offers suggestions for alternative methods/venues Considers whether the needs of all children have been met by the strategies used, particularly the needs of low-achieving students and those at risk of not meeting academic standards We are working on finalizing the 2014 – 2015 SPSA. This is a ‘wrap around’ plan – once confirmed, the plan will go into effect on XXX. For example, next fall we will work on the 2015 – 2016 plan. El Marino School Site Council Update 2014 - 2015
