PARCC Testing Overview What is PARCC? When do SHES students take PARCC? How can I help prepare my child to do their best?

The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a group of states working together to develop a set of assessments that measure whether students are on track to be successful in college and careers.

How can I help my child prepare? Before the Test Read each night and discuss what they read. Practice basic math facts. Use the Released Items on the PARCC Website to review and practice together. Morning of the Test Get a good night’s sleep prior to testing days Eat a healthy breakfast with protein Be positive and remind your child to do their best.
