MECC Prompt Card This can be tailored to incorporate your own logo or any other images and text This is envisaged as a small card that can be printed out to help provide you with ideas on how staff could raise questions to elicit further information on their service user’s health and wellbeing. These are suggestions only to lead into a conversation, and should be tailored to your specific line of work.

It could also be modified to be used as a signposting tool, by replacing the questions with a list of frequently used telephone numbers for other service providers, useful websites etc. Staff have said that the prompt card provides them with a rationale to approach people about their health and wellbeing as they have an official card that looks like it is part of an organisational survey when asking a question rather than just them looking like the are being nosy!
