Final Comments It is up to you to remain competent (Buyer Beware) You should be highly critical when assessing the utility of tests and training programs What we consider evidence of causality is changing and is often “up” for debate. Final Comments Be flexible & realistic with your expectations Simplicity is often best! It is easy to get inundated with information & analyses Dealing with raw data Especially true when communicating with people from different educational backgrounds Applied positions often come with an overwhelming number of factors that we need to take into account Start small and add incrementally Your may find your hands tied: try not to become cynical Do not get attached to a belief or a specific way of doing things Most results are difficult to replicate so remember short descriptions are often lacking but often become dogma Although we should be must be conscientious, we must also be decisive. We rarely have all the info we need thus….do your best!!
