CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT Understanding the concept of development Countries categorised as most developed, less developed and least developed countries.

Follow the following steps Categorisation: Your perception about the development level of your country Follow the following steps Step 1: Categorise your country (The country that you born in) Without investigating the “commonly accepted” development definition, with your individual experiences how did you categorise your country. It is belong to which category? Most developed Less developed or Least developed category

Justification of the categorisation Step 2. Justify your categorisation of your country by listing 6reasons (why you thought that your country belong to most developed, less developed or least developed countries group?) Don’t forget to include at least one social and one political factor to your justification to introduce multidimensionality of the concept.

Introducing development concept Step 3. Use the justifications that you listed in step two to introduce (to write in a sentence) your development definition. Example sentence: According to my experiences/ perception a developed country is a country where there is plenty of jobs, etc, etc, etc.
