THE DAILY NEWS LOCAL KIND JUDGE www.dailynews.com THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE NEWSPAPER - Since 1879 LOCAL Frank Gort was arrested and carried to prison that night, although he was going to trial the next morning. The burglar broke down in court and cried when he was sentenced to seven years in jail, claiming it was his unlucky number. An understanding judge took pity and gave him eight years instead. “He thought we would not noticed he wanted to subtract his years in prison” said the judge, “And that is the reason why I gave him eight years instead of seven” He should have stayed in silence and assume that what he did was wrong. Carmen Avilés Palos KIND JUDGE Yesterday a judge in San Antonio, Texas gave a burglar eight years of prison because he claimed it. Mrs Decker heard noises coming from the garage of her neightbour at 1 am. She called the police and told them a burglar was breaking into her neightbours house. 1
