Introduction Physiotherapy interventions prevent many medical conditions from reaching critical stages, helping to avoid surgery and effectively reversing the conditions. Physiotherapy has been proven to prevent early death in the mentally ill, help senior people recover from fractures which can prove fatal to them and is even used in cancer rehabilitation. Considering it's crucial role and growing significance, India is shockingly deficient in both trained physiotherapists and competent facilities.

K. J. Somaiya College of Physiotherapy Established in 2002 by K. J. Somaiya Medical Trust Offers Undergraduate & Postgraduate Physiotherapy programs Conducts research that advances the practice of physiotherapy and promotes high standards of health. Provides physiotherapy services to hundreds of under privileged patients daily, reaching out to patients by arranging economical transport facility.

Existing Facility

Objective The institute is now ready to further innovate and upgrade it's facilities, procuring the state-of-art infrastructure and equipment at Somaiya Ayurvihar, to widen the scope in teaching advanced physiotherapy techniques. The new premises will have a Central Research Lab and provide physiotherapy intervention to the needy irrespective of their caste, creed, gender and socio-economic status.
