Sequestration Definition / Impact Budget Control Act of 2011 will impose across-the-board cuts of about 8.2% Effective January 2, 2013 School Districts will lose approximately $80,000 for every $1,000,000 in funding received Mandatory cut due to Congress’ failure to agree on 10-year plan to cut spending

Aiken County Schools Are Succeeding! Aiken County holding steady with absolute ratings on 2012 Report Card: Sixteen of twenty elementary schools maintained absolute rating and four improved, Ten of eleven middle schools maintained absolute rating, All seven high schools maintained or improved absolute rating.
