Top Ten Tips for Transfers 10. Use a planner to help you stay organized 9. Know your course syllabi 8. Get contact info for at least one person in each of your classes. . . just in case 7. Form study groups  with classmates (or ask the Ancell Commons to help you put one together) 6. Break lengthy assignments into smaller, manageable parts and set deadlines

5. Use professor’s scheduled office hours to establish rapport with them and to ask questions 4. Ask for help as soon as you begin to struggle with assignments 3.
