Priority Measures to Increase the Participation of Women in the Labour Market Eurobarometer Survey

The GAP The gender pay gap in Ireland in 2006 was 9% of male earnings, which was below the EU average of 15% of male earnings. It should be noted that persons working 15 hours or less are excluded from this indicator. These persons are more likely to be female and persons on lower incomes The gender pay gap in Ireland in 2007 was 17.1% of male earnings, which was slightly below the EU average of 17.4%.
