Agenda for October 16, 2018 Journal Writing Prompt Discussion of Race: The Power of an Illusion, Episode 1: The Difference Between Us Written Reflection Review Digital Citizenship Materials - Test on Thursday!

Journal Prompt Directions: On a piece of notebook paper, respond to the following prompt questions below. Your response should be at least a paragraph (6-8 complete sentences) in length. Take time to think it through. Prompt Questions: Are you the same person on Social Media as you are in real life? How does your identity show up in your digital life? (Think about your identity groups grid.)

Class Discussion of Race Documentary Choose a partner. Decide who will be the scribe--this person will be responsible for writing down responses to the discussion questions. With your partner, talk through the discussion questions on the back of your notes handout for Race: The Power of an Illusion, Episode 1: The Difference Between Us. The scribe should write down your responses. Be prepared to share out your responses with the class.
