Stage 3 …..and leaves a stack The roof of the arch collapses due to gravity….. The sea continues to break up the eroded material into smaller pieces
Stage 4 A wave-cut platform is left as the headland retreats Stump All that remains is a stump. Perhaps only visible at low tide. The sea continues to erode the stack
