How Did He Get To Real Idiot Status?

1. He Got Up He did this by himself (IT WAS HIS CHOICE)

2. He Stood Up He did this with believers (IT WAS HIS COMMUNITY)

3. He Spoke Up He did this before unbelievers (IT WAS HIS COMMISSION)

4. He Gave Up He did this for others (IT WAS JESUS COMMAND)

You can have all this, and still not have the REAL IDIOT thing happening…

YOU MUST HAVE THE FIRE!

Without the FIRE, you are just a FALSE ALARM!

5. He Was Filled Up He was filled with FIRE! (IT WAS FROM THE COMFORTER)

Lets Look At A Couple Of 3-Alarm Fires That Peter Was Called Out On

Acts 5: But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Acts 5: But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Acts 5: And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

Acts 5: And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Possession IT USUALLY INVOLVES SOMETHING YOU HAVE OR SOMETHING YOU DO

Part THERE IS USUALLY AN APPEARANCE OF GIVING IT ALL YOU GOT

Privacy IT REQUIRES YOU TO KEEP CERTAIN THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF A SECRET

Production IT REQUIRES A LOT OF ACTING AND PUTTING ON A SHOW

Nobody Produces Phony Fire But You!

The Greater Sin Of Phony Fire Is NOT The Fooling Others, It Is The Lying To The Holy Spirit Of The Living God!

Phony Fire Matters A Whole Lot More To God Than It Will To Other Folks

But We Make The Grave Mistake Of Focusing More On What Others Think, Rather Than On What God Thinks

POWER SAYS: Listen To Me!

Acts 8: Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

Acts 8: But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Acts 8: Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Acts 8: Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Acts 8: For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

Acts 8: Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

The Power Of The Holy Spirit Cannot Be Purchased With Money!

It cannot be obtained by being clever or by using trickery!

It Does Not Come By Getting Into An Emotional State Or Frenzy!

The Power Of The Holy Spirit Will Never Be At Work In The Heart Of Someone Who Is Not Right With God… NEVER!
