How To Do Citation/Work Cited/Info. Cards By M.J. Brestle

Explanation: The purpose of the Citation Cards is to write down the information a person gets from their sources and that they want to use in the text of the research paper. This information can be a direct quote (which should be in “quotation marks”), statistics, expert opinions, a paraphrase of the author’s words or other worthwhile information.

How To~ Student will write his/her name and class on the top of each card. The information will be written on an index card ~ with the specific source indicated on the back of the card, include page #. Each student will have a minimum of FIVE (5) citations ~ at least ONE (1) from EACH SOURCE.
