Putting your solution into practice

Why should you plan your action? To more effectively solve the problem. To be sure you have taken care of all the details. To save time, energy, and resources.

Planning your action Break your solution into individual action steps. Decide to what extent each action step will occur. Decide who will do the work. Decide when each action step will take place. Decide what resources you will need and where you will get them. Decide what you will do if something goes wrong. Decide which steps need to happen first.

How do you implement your solution Make sure everyone is clear and in agreement. Ask for questions. Distribute contact information. Set another meeting date.

Evaluating what has happened Evaluating the success of the meeting. Evaluating the success of the solution.

If something goes wrong The wrong person volunteers. No one volunteers. Enthusiasm fails. It takes too much time. It arouses opposition. A new and better opportunity arises. If it doesn't work.
