Figure 1 The RIPK1-RIPK3 Necrosome Triggers Both Inflammatory Cytokine Production and Necroptosis Downstream of TLR4-TRIF While necrosome mediated Erk1/2 phosphorylation and MLKL phosphorylation is concurrent, Erk1/2 induces inflammatory gene induction at break-neck speed while MLKL takes a more meandering path to necroptotic membrane destruction.
