How Can You be Saved Follow the five steps listed below, and you will be on the way that leads to salvation. First you must understand what it means to be saved. To be saved means that you have been freed from your sin and the punishment of hell, that you have been given eternal life, and that you will enter heaven.

But you must first ask yourself, "Do I really want to be saved But you must first ask yourself, "Do I really want to be saved?" It is important that you answer this honestly.

Step 1 The first step is to write a list of sins you know you have committed. Why is this important? God wants to save you, but he asks that you are honest about your sins. If you truly want to be saved you will want to get right with God.

"For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly" (The Gospel of Mark 7: 21-22)

Step 2 The next step is to confess your sins, one by one, to God. Humble your heart before God and kneel before him in prayer. God hears the prayers of an earnest person, the man or women who sincerely repents.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (The Epistle, 1 John 1:9)

Step 3 The third step is to ask God to forgive you and to wash your heart clean with his blood. Isa Al-Masih died and shed his blood for your sins. But he rose from the dead on the third day, making his blood powerful to erase all your sins.

"The blood of Jesus purifies from all sin" (The Epistle, 1 John 1:7)

Step 4 The fourth step is to put your trust in God by laying all your sins at the foot of the cross. When you surrender your sins to God, you demonstrate your belief that he is powerful and loving enough to take upon himself your sins and the punishment that should have been yours.

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed" (The Epistle, 1 Peter 2:24)

Step 5 Invite God into your heart, and make a commitment to follow Him for as long as you live. By committing your life to God, you are making Him the Lord of your life.

"Here I am. I stand at the door and knock "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
