SPEEDBALL ARM’S RACE CAPTURE THE FLAG Base camp and the safe zones STORM THE FORT RAISE THE FLAG

PLAYING SPEEDBALL IN PALLET CITY IS ALL ABOUT BEEN ON THE OFFENSIVE; AGRESSION, POWER AND MOST OF ALL SPEED. Getting bogged down in this game is a definite no. to guarantee the game retains relentless speed the GRASS IS HIGHLY MAINTAINED ENSURING THERE IS NOTHING TO SLOW YOU AND YOUR ATTACK DOWN. This is the modern way of playing paintball, with no natural cover just artificial barricades symmetrically placed to maintain a fair game. you and your team must gain possession of the flag from the centre of the field and then take it to your opponents flag pole.

Arms race - The story Kylie is madtrax’s bomb disposal expert only she is not very good at her job. the last bomb she was defusing blew up and blew her arms off. Before she can be buried her arms must be reunited with her body which will be your teams task. Her arms were fired away from the body during the blast so the first thing that must be done is for the arms to be reunited with their owner. once this has been done the hut, where kylie lies, must be defended until the end of the game so the arms don’t go astray again. Then kylie can finally be laid to rest.

The game takes place in the largest area of the day in dense woodland meaning stealth and silent prowling are invaluable skills to have. The game area is the old skool style of paintball using 99% natural cover which makes making effective use of the cover even harder as it is always different. And finally the game could last up to 15 minutes which means staying alive is imperative otherwise your team will be down for a long time. This is the most tactical game of the day with many different ways of completing the game which helps to make it one of the most tense as the teams different plans go into action.

The first game of the day is a paintballing classic, capture the flag The first game of the day is a paintballing classic, capture the flag. Because it’s the first game it is also the simplest with the objective been to touch your opponents flag at the other end of the field. This, however, guarantees conflict between the two teams as they both try to reach each others flag. The zone also has the twist of see through barricades allowing you to see your opponent but not been able to shoot them until they make that fatal mistake!

Another classic paintball game Another classic paintball game. One team in the fort with the other team trying to storm the fort. The odds seem stacked against the attacking team when taking on such a heavily defended structure, but the attacking team have unlimited lives. Expect none stop action as waves of healed soldiers return from re-insertion to unleash another barrage against the fort and its defenders. The game is played twice with points for storming the fort within ten minutes, and bonus points for the fastest storm.

Raise the flag DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN Raise the flag DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. YOU AND YOUR TEAM MUST GET YOUR FLAG FROM THE AMMO BOX IN THE HUT AND THEN TAKE IT TO THE FLAG POLE AND RAISE IT TO FULL MAST. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOUR ENEMY ARE AFTER THE SAME FLAG AND WANT THE SAME FLAG POLE. YOUR TEAM MUST NOW DECIDE HOW TO CAPTURE THE FLAG, HOLD THE FLAG POLE, GET THE FLAG TO THE POLE AND RAISE IT ALL WHILE THE ENEMY ARE TRYING TO DO THE SAME.

The most important thing about paintball is safety which is why each game has its own designated safe zone with a marshal patrolling it throughout the entire game. The zones are designed so that no matter what angle a shot is fired at it cannot get through the door as long as you are inside. this means there is no need to wear a mask or other protection.

Outside each safe zone is a gun rack where your gun must be placed before you are allowed inside the safe zone, this eliminates any chance of a paintball getting inside a safe zone making is safe to remove your protective gear so you can cool down and relax. Again the patrolling marshal ensures that a gun never makes its way into a safe zone. They also make sure all masks are back on before anyone leaves a safe zone.

Base camp is made out of white insulated panels Base camp is made out of white insulated panels. While this does not provide excellent camouflage, until we get another blizzard, it does an excellent job at reflecting heat away so in the summer inside remains cool. Also the insulation properties of the panels helps keep the interior cool during the summer and keeps in warmth in during cold days. It is also fully water proof to keep you, your equipment and belongings dry no matter what the weather conditions are.

Again there are guns racks designed to keep you gun away from dirt so it is always clean and ready when you need it the most. And as with the safe zones guns must be on the rack before you can continue into the safe area. And to maintain the safety there is always a marshal monitoring everything ensuring no masks are removed before they pass through the door and making sure no guns make their way through the door. All the mentioned procedures maintain our 100% safety record.
