Hunter Nope My Science project

Mass The amount of matter in a object

Weight A measure of the heaviness of an object

Volume The space that an object takes up as expressed In cubic units

Matter Anything that has mass and occupies space

Periodic Table Is an arrangement of chemical elements in order of atomic number that groups elements with common characteristics in the same area of the table.

Proton A positively charged particle in the nucleus of an atom.

Saturated Is combined with or containing all the solute that can be dissolved without changing the temperature.

Diluted Having little solute in a solution in comparison with the amount of solvent.

Concentrated Having a large amount of solute in a solution in comparison with the amount of solvent.

Chemical Change The change of a substance into a different substance with different properties.

Physical Change A change in some properties of matter without forming a different kind of matter.

Chemical Change The change of a substance into a different substance with different properties.

Atom The smallest particle of a element that has all the properties of the element.

Compound A substance made up of a combination of two or more elements held together by chemical bonds that cannot be separated by physical means.

Electron A negatively charged particle moving around the nucleus of an atom.

Element The basic building blocks of matter; cannot be separated into parts by chemical means.

Neutron A particle with no electrical charge in the nucleus of an atom.
