Doppler Effect & Electromagnetism

How is sound a Wave? Discuss with a partner. So if the energy of the sound wave dissipates over distances, what do you think happens to it as something moves away from you?

Doppler Effect The apparent change in frequency of a sound wave caused by the motion of the wave and the observer. Get closer to the source = more waves you observe Farther away = less waves

Electromagnetic spectrum A classification by wavelength into radio, micro, terahertz and visible light. The behavior of Electro- magnetism depends on wavelength

ElectroMagnetism The interaction of electric currents or fields and magnetic fields Electromagnetic waves carry electromagnetic radiate energy through a space.

So how does electromagnetism work? Energy is the ability to do work You manipulate the electrical energy in objects You put energy into that manipulation Things have ability to move to your control Objects move so long as they are in your area of effect, concentration, and give them the ability to do work (energy) Discuss with your partner how it works as you remember your fictional media
