Ask your child to show you the sign language for the letters we have learned so far! Handwriting can be a challenge for many kindergartners, so practicing their letters and numbers at home would be very helpful! Next week I will be sending home some handwriting practice sheets for individual name writing practice. We had a visit from the Occupational Therapist on Friday and she helped us practice the correct way to hold a pencil and form a few letters. She will be back in a few weeks to help us with scissors and cutting! Next week we will talk about apples and the new fall season, and we will continue with our numbers and shapes in math.
