The looped suture is passed through the mid labrum (step 1) and through the chondrolabral junction (step 2), creating a double suture loop over the proximal half of the labrum. The suture ends are passed through the loop (step 3) and attached to the anchor (step 4). The anchor is placed securely into the acetabulum, which has been debrided and predrilled (step 5).
