Defense Hedgehogs normally poke out their spikes out when they feel threatened or afraid. This normally scares away the predator and leaves the hedgehog safe once again.

A Hedgehogs Diet Hedgehogs like to eat bugs , cat food, fruit ,and freeze dried mealworms. Hedgehogs also drink water.

Some Fun Facts About Hedgehogs Hedgehogs are nocturnal and live in Europe An African pigmy hedgehog is actually not a type of breed of hedgehog the breeders just forgot the original name .
