Neighbourhood Plan Process

Overall Aim To provide for sustainable growth which enhances the traditional character and lifestyles of our communities.  

RVBC Context and Core Strategy ‘Less Sustainable’ Tier 2 No requirement for housing

Core Strategy states ‘ Development that has recognised regeneration benefits, is for identified local needs or satisfies neighbourhood planning legislation, will be considered in all the Borough’s settlements, including small scale developments in smaller settlements that are appropriate for consolidation and expansion or rounding off the built up area.’
