Game time is 6:00 pm Food and drinks will be available to purchase T-shirts are $10.00 or tickets at the door are $3.00 for students, $5 for adults DJ will be there playing music the entire night Help us fill the Grizzly gym and BLACKOUT HJHS!!!

Junior High Promotion Requirements 7th Grade Requirements Math Social Studies English Science Physical Education Choice of ONE Elective class One half credit will be earned for each semester’s work successfully completed in each area. A maximum of 2 credits per year can be earned through successful completion of the offered electives. 6

GrJHS Bell Schedule First bell (warning bell) – 8:03 am, in seats by 8:08 am Dismissal bell rings at 3:10 pm Each class period is ~60 minutes long Passing periods are 4 minutes long Lunch is 30 minutes long You will have 6 class periods
P.R.I.D.E. Personal Responsibility In Daily Efforts Every student types in the Learning Target from each class in their Google Calendar and any HW they have Earn 8th hour if you are Tardy to class Did not complete HW Do not have materials for class (pen, pencil, paper, Chromebook) Stay after school until 3:45 pm (8th hour is 3:14 – 3:44)
Chromebooks Every student has the opportunity to have a Chromebook to use at school & home. checked out to a student at the beginning of the year collected at the end of the school year. Teachers have lessons and activities that utilize Chromebooks and applications to enhance student learning. We use the Chromebooks appropriately and respectfully.

Honors Classes 6th Grade students in ALP will automatically be placed in honors classes. ___________________________________________________________________________ 6th Grade ALP Math= 7th Grade Honors Math and Honors Science __________________________________________________________________________ 6th Grade ALP ELA= 7th Grade Honors English No Honors Social Studies in 7th Grade 6th grade teachers fill out recommendations for Honors as well. 14
There is no longer an honors test given at the junior high. What are the requirements to be placed in honors classes in 7th Grade if you are not in ALP? There is no longer an honors test given at the junior high. The requirements are: ( 3 out of 4 need to be met) Teacher Recommendation Grades of A’s and B’s last 8 Quarters End of Year Test- Highly Proficient AZ Merit Score- Highly Proficient If you do have CogAT (honors test) Scores of 90 or higher, then you can be placed in honors classes.

Greenfield Junior High School Important Dates for 2017-2018 February 24th Online registration portal closes for current GPS students. After that only paper registration is completed. Students not currently a GPS student can start enrolling at school site with registrar/attendance office after 24th. AVID INFORMATION NIGHT- This Thursday February 2/23 at 6pm Blackout PTRO Fundraiser against HJHS on Thursday, March 2nd, 6-7 pm here at GrJHS.
