Welcome to LBJ High School Library Ms. Allen, Librarian Ms. Verburgt, Library Assistant

LBJ High School Library You are welcome to come to the library to check out books, research or study. You may check out two books at a time for two weeks. You may check out three books if one is a class novel. You may renew books if necessary for another two weeks. You will be charged an overdue fine of 10 cents per day when books are late.

Plagiarism Plagiarism is stealing someone else’s idea or words. Cutting and pasting without quotations or citations is plagiarism. Plagiarism can be avoided by correctly citing your sources. Your teacher and/or librarian can teach you how to avoid plagiarism.

Etiquette: It’s just like real life. Be polite. Be smart. Do not reveal too much about yourself. Do not disrupt others. Do no respond to unsolicited contact. Never trash talk classmates, teachers or your school. Do not make purchases while on the JCISD network.

Be Proud and courteous. Our computers and devices serve as tools for learning and research Use them properly. Help save electricity by power save/logging off. Protect your password. Watch for and report vandalism.
