Mission Statement The Trust exists to improve education in the science and practice of Radiography, Radiotherapy and allied subjects throughout the world. Vision To empower, develop, and enhance radiography knowledge and skills, for the international community of radiographers working in developing countries through providing resources and sponsoring opportunities.

Our objectives for 2015-20 are: To develop human and financial resources to support the vision and mission of the WRETF To modernise the delivery of educational resources to achieve excellence in education To create meaningful, strategic partnerships and alliances to promote excellence in radiography education in the developing world To improve internal and external communication with like-minded sister organisations e.g ISRRT, RAD-AID and other professional bodies which support radiographers

Finance WRETF relies entirely on donations to continue its work Finance WRETF relies entirely on donations to continue its work. Most of our income comes from individuals and from member societies around the world.

Recent Activities Introducing our twinning programme whereby we link an imaging department in a Developed Country with one of those in a Developing one in order to build a sustainable relationship. Implementing our ambassador programme whereby those interested in supporting the work of WRETF, become ambassadors for the Trust and promote our work at conferences, and via face to face meetings. Ambassadors based in a Developing Country also support applicants in making their application for support. Introducing a bursary scheme to support individuals in furthering their education in radiography by attendance at an appropriate conference or by making an educational visit.
