What is a Retail Business? Retail businesses sell finished goods to consumers in exchange for money. Retail goods can be sold through stores, kiosks, by mail or the Internet. Retail businesses can include grocery, pharmacy and convenience stores. Service related businesses such as beauty salons and rental places are also considered retail businesses. Works directly with consumers.

What is Considered Retail? Grocery stores General merchandise stores Specialty stores- vitamins, sporting Goods, clothing, etc. Non-store retailers - online Restaurants
