Workstation fabrics, laminates, trim, etc. Haworth Sample order Workstation fabrics, laminates, trim, etc.

Due on April 20th Panel Fabric (s) Usually at least 2 fabrics, one will be an accent for tack panels or “tiles/stacks”. You many use more, but don’t get too wild with patterns. You can use C.O.M or the pre-approved textiles from Maharam, Luna and Carnegie. See binder for approved fabrics. Panel fabric should be at least 66” wide if selecting a C.O.M. It must be suitable for vertical/wall applications. Panel Trim: Includes all the top cap, side rails, and raceway covers. Usually the same on all these trim pieces. Look at the finish matrix to find out which trims are approved for your system. You will need to refer to the “laminate” card to see the actual color because I don’t have a finish card. Worksurface material: Typically a laminate. See laminate care in binder. Realize if you use Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica, etc. it will be very expensive for the client. (if using a solid laminate, choose the same color as the trim for the worksurfaces) Wood laminates will have a matching trim Trim for Drawers/Shelves: select a trim for all the metal on the components. You can use the same trim as the panels to keep it simple. You may choose wood fronts, frosted resins, etc, but will need to verify in the systems price book under the finish matrix that it is really available. Seating Fabrics: If using a Haworth product, you can order samples from the seating binder. This binder is for Haworth only. You are not limited to Haworth for your seating. You can order a sample of the mesh if you are using a Haworth chair. Refer to the surface collection on Haworth.com web site and the seating price list for approved mesh colors. Scrims, banners, resins, etc. (See Mrs. Hamilton for actual samples to order from. These are not in the binders.

Directions First select a furniture system you wish to use. (Compose, Unigroup Too, Premise/Moxie) Study the price catalog and images that are available at http://sourcebook.haworth.com and www.haworth.com Open the system’s price list (from sourcebook) and turn to the back to locate the Finish /Color Legends. You will need to refer to this list of approved finishes before selecting any fabrics, trims, woods, etc. Not all woods and trims are available on all systems. You can only use what is listed in this legend for your selected systems.

Directions Look thru the black panel binder to find the samples you want to order and make note of: Pattern Name Color Name Color Code You can also use the link for the surface collection http://www.haworth.com/Brix?pageID=20 Look up your samples that you want to order in the sales aid guide to locate the 4 digit item #. Complete the Excel Spread Sheet on the desktop of the laptop in the classroom by April 20th. You are responsible for entering your information correctly. Any miss-ordered samples must be paid for. Late samples will not be ordered.
