Parachute Lab Names: _____________ __________________ Part I: Procedure: Your team has been recruited to SAVE JAMES BOND from CERTAIN DOOM!!!!! You need to design a parachute that will hold 007 in the air for the longest time possible and near the target. The team with the parachute that hangs in the air the longest will receive extra credit passes! Team Roles You may assign team members or share the following roles. Recorder: Write down lab information Timer: Time the length of each drop. Dropper: Drop the parachute. Work to get the best launch technique. Builder: Create parachute. Make sure it holds 007! You may make your parachute out of materials available in class or bring more from home. Part II: Data Record details of your designs so you can refer back to what worked best. You must make at least three different parachutes. If you make an adjustment to a parachute, it counts as a different parachute. You will be only able to drop one per group.
