Researching your specialism Now you have decided on a specialism, you need to research it! What is your specialism? What does it consist of? What media industries can you do this in? Are there any skills or qualifications needed? What are the best routes into a profession within this specialism? Find articles that support your specialism and discuss it’s importance in the industry You need to build a profile of your specialism, finding out as much information about it as possible.

Video analysis Find and discuss videos about your chosen specialism. Upload them to your Weebly page and write the analysis directly onto your page under or next to the video. Don’t just describe what happens in the video – we can see that by watching it – you must explain and discuss the important parts of it and how its relevant to your specialism.
