My Garden Game Oaklynn Special School 2013

How to use the game Print the garden field card, and laminate or glue it inside of a manila folder. Attach the small pieces of Velcro on the each square. Print the vegetable cards, cut them out, and laminate them individually. Print the basket, cut it out, laminate it and attach the small Velcro pieces on the basket. The game could be used to: 1. label the main vegetables 2. learn related action words e.g., to plant, to grow, to harvest, to put in 3. to count vegetables 4. to learn prepositions under, next to, between, above, below, on the right, on the left. The game can be used as a turn taking, memory game or matching game as well as the vegetable lotto. To use it as matching or lotto game, glue one set of pictures on the garden field squares and have another set of vegetable cards cut and laminated individually for matching or calling out.
