Love for Rosaline Quote 1 "Out of her favour where I am in love" Emphasises his love Showing their relationship is weak Only interested in her beauty He knows that she does not have the same feelings for him

Quote 2 "A fire sparkled in a lovers eyes" Fire symbolising passion Talking about Rosaline's eyes Sparkled' instead of 'Burned sounds nicer glimmering/ shining Romeo has a lot of passion, fire burning from his heart, can be out of control.

Quote 3 "A sea nourished with loving tears" Comparing tears with sea Massive amounts of tears Being very emotional word nourished cared for/ looked after oxymoron comparing something big and something small
